Seattle Art Source’s “Form Over Function: Held Together,” their third annual group exhibition about identity, connection, and resilience, opens on Saturday, October 17 (from 4 to 7 p.m.) at their Georgetown studio (5531 Airport Way South) and runs until November 21.

The month-long show features figurative painting by ten distinct voices, five of those have had their work grace the pages of PublicDisplay.ART as featured artists: Kelly Bjork, Amy Erickson, Becca Fuhrman, Nahom Ghirmay, and Amy Scherer.

Other local artists featured include: Michael Doyle, Barry Johnson, Kade Marsili, Zachary Schomburg, and Kimberly Trowbridge. The show is curated by Seattle Art Source founder Sarah Hurt and artist Seth Sexton, who was also a featured artist in PublicDisplay.ART.

Programming for the six-week run includes two artist panels hosted, a design industry happy hour, and closing party on Saturday, November 14 at Georgetown Art Attack.

Seattle Art Source plans to donate a portion of the show’s proceeds to Lifelong Health for All, a Washington-based nonprofit working to make health and food accessible to all.
